Thank you for your replies re my query but its my mistake. I have done lace knitting before and didn't even think about how to read a chart and I realized that never having done 'charted lace knitting 'where both sides are charted , I
was reading it the wrong way around !! Ah well learnt something new , funnily enough the pattern looked okay !!
